Turkey Sliders

Image
Recently, I've developed a love for turkey sliders.  Partly because it is one of the few no fuss foods I can get my picky six year old to eat.  But also, because it's so good and these turn out so juicy each time I've made them.  Check out below to see how I make them! Ingredients: 2 lbs of Ground Turkey 2 Tbsp Barbecue Sauce 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 Egg 1/4 Cup of Panko breadcrumbs 2 Tbsp Butter Slider Buns Lettuce & Cheese (or whatever else you would like to dress your slider, I actually used a couple of spinach leaves and cheese) Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.  While it's heating, you can start putting the turkey patties together. Mix all the ingredients together.  Break off golf ball sized portions and roll them between your hands to form a ball.  Then flatten the ball slightly to form the slider patty. I line the patties in glass pans while preparing them all for the s...

Jalapeño Turkey Burgers

Image
We had these awesome jalapeño hamburgers once at a family member's house.  I am not quite sure of the brand, but they tasted great.  After that, I started wondering how I could do this at home.  Since I normally make my burgers with ground turkey, I thought, I will have to see how these jalapeño turkey burgers turn out. The picture above illustrates how the burgers look when finished.  Don't mind the massive piece of lettuce on this burger, the bottom of the bun is actually underneath it. Ingredients: 1 lb. ground turkey 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced Paprika to taste Salt to taste Dice the jalapeño as small as possible.  You want it to be fine so you don't bite into a huge chunk of jalapeño pepper once mixed into the burger patties.  However, if you would prefer bigger pieces, feel free to chop it differently, according to your tastes. Discard the seeds of the pepper. In a bowl, add the ground turkey, jalapeño pepper, paprika ...

Turkey Meatballs

Image
These meatballs can be served in a spaghetti sauce or even served as an appetizer in barbecue sauce. They are quite versatile. Ingredients: 1 can of tomato sauce 3 lbs of ground turkey 2 eggs 2 cups breadcrumbs In a large bowl, season the ground turkey with paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and the eggs.  Mix the ingredients together. Mix the tomato sauce and ground turkey together.  I usually use a spoon to do this.  Then, with your fingers form several little round meatballs and line a baking dish with them. Bake in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
